“Global Education through Bridging Culture”
Narrative Report on the Conduct of the Education Month Celebration
Teofilo V. Fernandez Elementary School culminates the Education Month Celebration with the theme “Global Education through Bridging Culture” last December 9,2011 .
The celebration started with an opening program through a doxology, followed by the singing of the national anthem accompanied by the TVFES Drum and Lyre. Dance presentations on how our education evolved were done by the SPG officers together with students from the Alternative Helping Schoolies. The opening program ended through the message and discussion of the school principal Yolanda B. Malano about the K- 12 Education .The pupils, teachers ,school administrators ,parents and 14 students and teacher representatives from the Alternative Helping Schoolies witnessed the said celebration.
Later in the afternoon the celebration continued through posters making, collage making and teaching about the culture and education of Australia by the students from Alternative Helping Schoolies followed by a friendship games competition from each grade level all the types of outdoor games taught by the Australian Students.
Finally the celebration ended with the teachers team building activities, school blog website launching and a tribute program for the visitors from Australia.
